The Miners came out with a RARE win against the Grizzles 5-3 Monday night in front of 4300 or so at Rent One Park. The Miners are 3-14 against Gateway. The Defensive play and Player of the game in my eyes, Ralph Santana, had a great game. Gateway lead off the first inning with Roberts hitting a huge blast to dead center field, making it 2-0 right out of the gates. The Gateway 2nd baseman gave us a couple of runs on errors, and we pounded out some good timed hits to pull out the win.
