We scored 20 runs

Yep, you read that right, we scored 20 runs, the most we've scored in a single game ever. Pinto must of said something threatening, like cuts are coming, ect. anyway we beat up Florence 20-10 to pull above .500 again at 23-22. Stats are coming.

Game two of a three game series turned into a slugfest at Champion Window Field. Domingo Acosta got the call for the Freedom.
The Freedom got the scoring started in the first, beginning with a Ryan Basham RBI single. Four more runs came across, and the Freedom led 5-0. The Miners struck back with five runs of their own in the second, and the game was tied at five. Tim Grogan doubled in two more runs in the Freedom half of the second, and they led 7-5. Southern Illinois continued their offensive output, scoring four in the top of the third. The Freedom tried to match that effort, scoring two runs in the third. That was all the Freedom offense could muster, and they lost by a final score of 20-11.
The Miners will wrap up the series tomorrow afternoon at Champion Window Field at 12:35 PM against the Freedom. That will lead into the All-Star game, which will take place at Champion Window Field on Wednesday
