Miners beat Chillicothe for 1st time ever

The Miners beat Chillicothe for the 1st time this season, or ever for that matter tonight 6-4, Improving to 26-25 overall, 1 game ahead of Florence and Rockford for the Wild card Playoff spot.

The Miners were slow on the offense tonight, scoring 2 runs in the 7th and 2 in the 8th, Koski's triple in the 8th was his 2nd of his Professional career. A 2-run double by Rob Wirth in the 7th was Robs 2nd double of the night. The Miners look to take 2 of 3 from the Paint, but are 4-10 overall in the month of July. Wednesday, the Paint again will host our Miners at 7:05 pm in Chillicothe, Ohio. Nick Tisone will go to the mound for the Miners, Brian Johnson will go for the Paint. Go Miners
